HS/HSL is committed to preserving user privacy. The personal information received and retained as a result of a user’s interface with the Archive is intended to be used by HS/HSL solely to maintain the proper operation and functioning of the Archive, and for the improvement of the Archive and the services of the Archive. In exceptional cases, personal information may be used and disclosed for other purposes as permitted by law.
The Archive system collects individually identifiable personal information from:
- users involved in the submission of Archive content and metadata
- users who contact the Archive staff for support, inquiries and providing feedback through “Contact Us” form
