An Exhibit of Digital Images by the DigiDocs Photography Group
March 6 – May 5, 2006
DigiDocs, a Baltimore-based photography group, was founded in 2001 by, Barry Handwerger (SOM ’68; Professor, SOM 1985 – present) and Arnold Honkofsky (SOP ’68). DigiDocs was created to be an intellectual home, a gathering place where amateur and professional photographers can interact, share experiences, exchange ideas, hone their photographic skills and continually learn more about the art, science and technology of photography (especially digital photography). Handwerger and Honkofsky named their photography group “DigiDocs”- a name that directly illustrates an essential feature of the photography group: the fusion of digital photography and imaging editing (doctoring) software to create new artistic images.
There will be a celebration of the opening of the exhibit on March 9th from 6:00-9:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served.
