{"id":1670,"date":"2015-04-22T12:54:59","date_gmt":"2015-04-22T16:54:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www2.hshsl.umaryland.edu\/hslupdates\/?p=1670"},"modified":"2015-04-22T13:22:44","modified_gmt":"2015-04-22T17:22:44","slug":"native-voices-luncheon-lectures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www2.hshsl.umaryland.edu\/hslupdates\/?p=1670","title":{"rendered":"Native Voices Luncheon Lectures"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.hshsl.umaryland.edu\/gallery\/?p=850\">Native Voices<\/a> traveling exhibition, explores the connection between wellness, illness, and cultural life through a combination of interviews with Native people, artwork, objects, and interactive media.\u00a0 The exhibition in the Weise Gallery on the main floor of the HS\/HSL, will be onsite until May 22<sup>nd<\/sup> and is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8am until 7pm and on weekends from 9-5 on Saturdays and 11-8 on Sundays.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The HS\/HSL will be hosting two luncheon lectures in conjunction with the exhibit.<\/strong> <\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><strong>Thursday, April 30, 2015 11:30-1:00, Gladhill Board Room, 5th Floor, HS\/HSL<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">Dr. John Reed, UM Center for Integrative Medicine,<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">\u201cPost Traumatic Combat Stress, Moral Injury, and Post Traumatic Growth: Native American Models for Honoring Returning Warriors\u201d<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">A light lunch will be served with dessert in the exhibit space.
