Take a break from your academic routine at the HS\/HSL on Wednesday, October 19th for the next event in the Harry Potter Series.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lecture: <em>The Medicinal Magic of Modern Compounding: Potions Class for the 21st Century<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Richard Dalby, Professor and Associate Dean, School of Pharmacy<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday October 19th,\u00a0 12:oo pm &#8211; 1:00 pm, Distance Education Room Lower Level (LL02)<\/p>\n<p>Professors Richard Dalby and James Polis will provide a modern twist on Potions Class by explaining how pharmacists compound medications to meet critical patients care needs. Using colored dyes in place for drugs, they will demonstrate how creams, thermosetting gels, powder papers or capsules can deliver customized medications to patients.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibit &#8220;Harry Potters World: Renaissance Science, Magic, and Medicine,&#8221; is on display at the HS\/HSL Weise Gallery from September 18th &#8211; November 5th.
