The National Library of\nMedicine (NLM) at the National Institutes of Health is hosting a free webinar\nfor researchers to learn how to share, discover, and cite COVID-19 data and\ncode in generalist repositories on Fiday, April 24 from 2:00-3:45 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The biomedical\nresearch community\u2019s understanding of the novel coronavirus and the associated\ncoronavirus disease (COVID-19) is rapidly evolving. Open science and the timely\nsharing of research data have played a critical role in advancing our\nunderstanding of COVID-19 and accelerating the pace of discovery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Researchers will\nhave an opportunity to hear from multiple generalist repositories about the\nways each repository is supporting discoverability and reusability of COVID-19\ndata and associated code. The NLM will also provide an overview of available\nCOVID-19 literature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The webinar will be available via NIH\nVideoCast<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Instructions on submitting questions will\nbe made available closer to the webinar. Interested participants are encouraged\nto bookmark this page for the latest updates and follow #NIHdata on\nTwitter.
