UMB faculty, staff and students can order interlibrary loans (ILL). The turn-around time is fast and the service is free for students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the HSHSL&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hshsl.umaryland.edu\/\">homepage<\/a>, click the drop-down list for &#8220;Resources&#8221; and choose &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.docdel.umaryland.edu\/portal\/\">Request Articles &amp; Books<\/a>.&#8221; Next, click on the big blue button that says &#8220;Login with UMID and Password.&#8221;&nbsp; If you are a first time user there will be a short registration process (you will need the 14-digit number on the back of your UM One Card id badge).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Choose which type of request you need from the list on the left-hand side of the page: journal article, book, or book chapter.\u00a0 Fill in the form with the required citation information and click the blue \u201cSubmit Request\u201d button.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also make requests when you are searching databases.\u00a0 If you need something we do not own, click on the yellow &#8220;Find It&#8221; button and choose &#8220;Order a Copy of This Item.&#8221;\u00a0 You will be directed to the ILL form with the citation data already filled in.\u00a0 Click &#8220;Submit Request&#8221; and your order will be processed promptly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Questions?
