To these and other questions, CDABS may have the answers.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Center for Data and Bioinformation Services (CDABS) is the HSHSL\u2019s hub for data and bioinformation learning, services, resources, and communication. We offer a comprehensive range of services for working with data at each stage of your research project, from do-it-yourself guides and tutorials to interactive workshops and personalized consultations.<br>CDABS offers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support for writing NIH-compliant&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/guides.hshsl.umaryland.edu\/nih-dmsp2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Data Management and Sharing Plans<\/a>, including expert feedback on plans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Instruction in R and Python programming<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/datacatalog.hshsl.umaryland.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UMB Data Catalog<\/a>, which provides descriptions of datasets from UMB researchers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www2.hshsl.umaryland.edu\/cdabs\/resources\/data.cfm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Facilitated access<\/a>&nbsp;to special datasets, repositories, and data management tools, such as All of Us, ICPSR, and OSF<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Free and individualized&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.hshsl.umaryland.edu\/cdabs\/consult.cfm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">consultations<\/a>&nbsp;on a wide range of topics, such as choosing a data repository, finding secondary datasets, developing file-naming schemes, and visualizing data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Visit the CDABS<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.hshsl.umaryland.edu\/cdabs\/index.cfm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&nbsp;web portal<\/a>&nbsp;to quickly and easily navigate the many data and bioinformation related resources and services we provide at the HSHSL, as well as those on campus and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For questions, contact your Data Services Librarians Amy Yarnell and Irmarie Fraticelli at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:data@hshsl.umaryland.edu\">data@hshsl.umaryland.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How do I write a data management plan?
