Both trials end <strong>Sept. 30<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After trying either or both resources, please <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.cloud.microsoft\/r\/CeZuMg7xPR\">share your feedback<\/a><\/strong>. Your input will help the HSHSL evaluate these resources and determine whether they meet the needs of our campus community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What are these resources?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PolicyMap<\/strong> is an interactive mapping and data platform that provides access to thousands of demographic, health, socioeconomic, housing, and community indicators. Users can create custom maps, analyze geographic trends, and visualize data from a wide range of trusted sources.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Statista<\/strong> is a comprehensive statistics and market research platform that brings together data, reports, forecasts, infographics, and survey results covering business, healthcare, technology, education, public policy, and many other topics.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to Access:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both resources are available to use on and off campus.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/gateway.hshsl.umaryland.edu\/eresources.cfm?id=7206\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Access PolicyMap<\/a> now\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access Statista starting September 1 from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.hshsl.umaryland.edu\/hshsl\/resources\/databases\/index.cfm#anchor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HSHSL website<\/a>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We encourage faculty, staff, and students to explore these resources and consider how they might support your work.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for helping us assess these trial resources and guide future library collection decisions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The HSHSL is pleased to offer campus-wide trials of PolicyMap and Statista, two resources that support research, teaching, grant development, community engagement and data-driven decision-making.
