Current Role at UMB

María M. Pinkas is the Metadata Management Librarian in the Resource Development and Access Division. She is responsible for the description of library resources, as well as for assigning or curating controlled access terms, keywords and other metadata used to search for books, ebooks, journals, digital materials and datasets in the Library Catalog, the UMB Digital Archive and the UMB Data Catalog. She oversees the activities of the Metadata Management Department.
