Current Role at UMB

The Health Sciences & Human Services Library serves as the Regional Medical Library for Region 1 of the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM), serving Delaware, the District of Columbia, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.

As the Administrative and Grants Specialist, Nancy works with current and prospective network members throughout Region 1 toward decreasing health disparities by increasing health literacy. This is accomplished via oversight of Region 1 network membership data, maintenance of the NNLM Members Directory which facilitates partnerships, Region 1 grant and proposal guidance, and oversight of funded health information outreach projects in DC, DE, KY, MD, NC, NJ, PA, VA and WV.
