Expert Literature Searches will pause for a short winter break. You may continue to submit requests at any time, but anything sent after Dec. 19 will be processed when staff return on Jan. 5. Contact hshsl@umaryland.edu with questions.
A faculty librarian can perform an expert search of the journal literature in a variety of databases and deliver the search results to you. This service is available to UMB faculty and staff.
Students who would like assistance with a literature search must request a research consultation.
Search results (citation and abstracts) are delivered through email or a file that can be imported to a citation manager.
A faculty librarian will respond to your request for a literature search within 2 business days with an estimate of when your request will be complete.
