Historical Collections serves as an archival repository for the University of Maryland, Baltimore; as such, it aims to collect materials that tell the story of the University and the schools of Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Social Work, and Graduate Studies. The items in these collections include university publications, such as yearbooks, annual academic catalogs, commencement programs, alumni publications and campus newsletters; individual school records, such as matriculation registers, charters, and faculty minutes; early theses and dissertations; and manuscript collections from individual faculty and alumni, as well as campus organizations and schools.
The collections are open and growing through donations and transfers.
