Groundbreaking: Spring Botanicals

HSHSL’s exhibit, “Groundbreaking: Spring Botanicals”, features illustrations from 18^th century botanists William Woodville and William Curtis. The images used in this exhibit are from books by Woodville and Curtis held in HSHSL’s historical collection. The botanical illustrations were digitally enhanced and enlarged to highlight the detail and colors of the artists’ work.
