Paige Randolph Patterson
April 4, 2005 – June 4, 2005
By day you will find Paige Randolph Patterson quietly working behind the Circulation Desk at the HS/HSL. However, when not making the world safe for course reserves, Paige can be found pursuing her real passion – photography! From April 4, 2005 – June 4, 2005, Paige’s photography will be featured in the Weise Gallery.
Paige Randolph Patterson exhibits her work in galleries such as the Soho Photo Gallery and Chicago’s Woman Made Gallery. She was the recipient of a 2002 Vision Award from the Santa Fe Center for Visual Arts and has been an artist-in-residence at Bucknell University and Centrum Arts Center in Washington state. Most recently, her work was selected by curator Maura Reilly (curator of the feminist collection at the Brooklyn Museum of Art) to appear in the 6 th International Biennial Exhibition at New York’s A.I.R. Gallery.
“Paige is a real talent and we are delighted that we can feature her photography at the Weise Gallery.” Says Executive Director, M.J. Tooey. “I suspect, however, that she is using us to finance her art career! We are glad we can support that ambition and are very proud of her.”
