Downtown Baltimore is an exciting place to live and work, offering all the amenities of a large city and the charm of a small town. There is lively nightlife and eclectic dining, shopping, a symphony orchestra, and theaters that host Broadway plays. The Baltimore campus is within walking distance to attractions such as Camden Yards, home of the Baltimore Orioles, M&T Bank Stadium, home of the Baltimore Ravens, and the Inner Harbor.

The Universities at Shady Grove in Rockville, Md., forges a link between our scientific and clinical faculty and the rich resources of the I-270 biotechnology corridor and federal facilities. In addition to its close proximity to major federal agencies, Rockville is a vibrant community with easy access to the Metro and the attractions of Washington, D.C. including historical monuments and museums.

Online degree programs offered through the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy are designed to meet the unique educational needs of working professionals. These programs provide students with convenient access to innovative didactic experiences led by nationally renowned researchers and experts in the field, allowing them to network with other professionals around the world while working to advance their careers and sharpen their knowledge and skills.

The University of Maryland School of Pharmacy is home to more than 20 student organizations, including professional pharmacy organizations, professional fraternities, and an honor society. These organizations are committed to helping students engage in community outreach, professional development, and social interaction.

Tuition and fees are set by the University and are based on residency status. Students will be assessed a fee for late payment of tuition and fees. Notwithstanding any other provision of this or any other University publication, the University reserves the right to make changes in tuition, fees and other charges at any time such changes are deemed necessary by the University and the University System of Maryland Board of Regents.

Scholarships are made available through a combination of funds from the University System of Maryland Foundation, corporate scholarships, and scholarships from the Dean’s Office. To qualify for these awards, students must complete an application and have an updated Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the School. Scholarship applications are emailed to students at the end of each spring semester. Completed applications are reviewed by the Office of Student Affairs, with scholarship recipients announced at the beginning of the fall semester.

The University of Maryland, Baltimore campus provides a wide variety of services to our students, including academic support, counseling, and recreation.
