The publishers of AIM have identified a bug in the new platform.
The following notice has been issued: When a user closes an article PDF after viewing, saving or printing, a box will appear asking users to purchase. USERS CAN IGNORE THAT BOX. The PDF will still be accessible and can be saved or printed out. The bug should be fixed by Tuesday, June 19th.

Full Text Access to JAMA Issues Resolved
Any access issues to articles within JAMA that the HS/HSL has a subsciption to, should now be resolved. We thank you for your patience.
Possible Problems with Access to Full Text JAMA Articles
The Journal of the American Medical Association has recently launched within a new server. Unfortunately with this move, there may be issues with accessing full text articles. JAMA is currently at work trying to resolve these issues. If you try to access an article within JAMA, that the library should have access to, but you are unable to get to, please contact the Reference Department at 410-706-7996 or hshsl@umaryland.edu.
Grant Proposal Writing Workshop Date Change

Summer Workshop Schedule Now Available

New Open Access Journal Program from UK Versita
Academic publisher Versita has announced the launch of a new programme of Open Access journals. 100 Emerging Science Journals are being launched in 2012. The programme will focus on young and rapidly developing fields of science, which have not yet been covered by a designated journal. The emerging topics have been identified in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Medicine, Physics and Mathematics.
