Whiteboard Project: Best Anatomy Atlas?

whiteboard poll

We asked, you answered. Netter’s Atlas of Human Anatomy trounced Gray’s Atlas of Anatomy in last week’s whiteboard poll. Perhaps this result reflects the number of people who are still loyal fans of the Grey’s Anatomy TV show after all these years… Regardless of which version you prefer, we have a wide variety of anatomy atlases available for checkout.

Be sure to stop by the library to weigh in on our current poll, RefWorks vs. EndNote for citation management!

Whiteboard Project: Is OLD BAY® Just for Crabs?

old bay poll

In one of our most decisive polls yet, it is clear we have a lot of OLD BAY® fans here! Most of you do not believe this Maryland-born seasoning should only be used on steamed crabs. However, the crabs-only folks are not without some support, as the original name of OLD BAY® was “Delicious Brand Shrimp and Crab Seasoning.”¹ Those more adventurous in using the seasoning suggested french fries and pizza – any other ideas?

Whiteboard Project: Toilet Paper – Over or Under?

A question for the ages.  Should the toilet paper roll hang under or over?  It is clear from our scientific polling that most of you prefer that it hang over.  In fact, it was proven that this was the original intent by a patent image of the designer’s clear diagram showing that toilet paper should hang over.  The end.

Whiteboard Project: Which OS Does Your Phone Use?

It was a squeaker this time, but Apple still won the day with 27 votes versus 24 for Android.  Somebody out there uses the Windows OS.  Thank you for voting!  Look out for our next question…

HS/HSL Delayed Opening Saturday, July 15th, 9:00am

The HS/HSL will open one hour late on Saturday, July 15th at 9:00am instead of 8:00am.  The Campus is completing a generator project and testing will extend until Saturday morning.  There is concern that the Library could experience a power surge or outage during the testing, so a delayed opening was required.

We apologize for any inconvenience.
