National Institutes of Health (NIH) defines precision medicine is “an emerging approach for disease treatment and prevention that takes into account individual variability in genes, environment, and lifestyle for each person.”
You can learn more about precision medicine and how NIH is already playing an important role in the Precision Medicine Initiative through a number of NLM resources:
Access to HS/HSL databases and the A-Z list of journals has been restored.
Access to HS/HSL databases and journals are currently down. We are working to resolve the issue. The One Search box on the Library’s homepage is still working to access full-text.

The HS/HSL offers poster printing to all UMB faculty, students, and staff and University of Maryland Medical Center staff. Posters will be printed in support of academic, professional, and research purposes.
All posters can be picked up at the Information Services Desk.
