Librarians can assist with literature reviews by developing searches and sending you results. This service can be used to satisfy literature search requirements for IACUC review. Available to UMB faculty and staff, including postdocs, residents, and fellows.
The HSHSL offers a variety of free, live workshops on topics including literature searching and communicating with patients. Video tutorials cover how to search specific databases and use individual clinical tools.
Librarians can provide guest lectures or training sessions to clinical department or residency programs. Topics include searching the literature for clinical evidence, publishing case reports, communicating with patients in plain language, and more.
