Research Impact and Visibility

Research impact is a measure of the influence of scholarly work, and is usually approximated through metrics such as citation counts and media mentions. Measuring research impact can be useful for promotion and tenure, grant applications, grant progress reports, and demonstrating meaningful outcomes of your scholarship.

Request an impact report or meet with a librarian for advice on how to measure and enhance your work’s impact and visibility.

Citation Managers

Citation managers such as Zotero and EndNote save time while you’re writing by keeping references organized. They integrate with Microsoft Word and other word processors so you can insert formatted citations directly into papers and generate a formatted bibliography.
